Sky lantern, design AART architects

SKY - new park luminaire

AART architects has designed SKY, a new park luminaire which adapt to its application with great flexibility. The luminaire can be equipped with different types of reflectors for rotation or asymmetrical lighting. The light source, LED, is placed at the bottom of the luminaire, and the indirect light, reflected by the arched roof, is soft and pleasant. SKY fits 90 and 60 mm columns.

The form of the luminaire, reaching for the sky, with the arched roof top has lead to the name SKY. Light is reflected and comes from above - from the sky.

We expect to have SKY ready by the end of 2014 but we present a proto type at Light + Building, stand A20 in hall 5.0, Urban Lighting.
Nyx 330, design Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects

NYX - pleasant light

The NYX series by Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects is used by many light planners due to its pleasant light without glaring. Even in cases where theory leaves NYX out, it often ends up with NYX as the winner; when it comes to reality, she beats her competitors by the visual comfort.

In future, however, you can have both high performance and visual comfort. NYX 330 comes in a new LED version with an output of up to 5,000 lumen. The new LED with lenses ensures optimum distribution of light and meets the requirements to safe street lighting.

We present all LED-based versions of NYX at Light + Building, and we have equipped them with advanced lighting control. Come, have a look at stand A20, hall 5.0, Urban Lighting.
Becco lantern, design Grønlund & KSA Design

BECCO lantern and bollard

The architects behind BECCO, Susanne Grønlund and Karin Andersen, have integrated the LED light source in the design of the luminaire. The result is a harmonious unity with great functionality. Thus the heat zink not only leads heat away from the LED but functions as the base of the LED and the transition between lantern and pole. The screen is made of long-life polycarbonate with acrylate on both sides. This combination of materials offers a resistance to UV radiation second to none, without deteriorating other important characteristics, such as strength and diffusion.

Functional design is repeated in the BECCO bollard which is so powerful that the distance between the bollards can exceed 20 meters.

Come and take a look at BECCO at the Light + Building show, stand A20, hall 5.0, Urban Lighting.
