In cooperation with Cubo Architects we have developed a new fixture in the Pelée family, Pelée 385 for surface-mounting. Later on this year it will be accompanied by a smaller version with a diameter of 250 mm, and the Pelée family will be complete for recession or surface-mounting in the two sizes 250 and 385 mm.

The Pelée 385 for surface mounting is composed of the same components as the fixture for recession. The whole family is characterised by the conical inner circles contributing to the pleasant spread of light.

 

Pelée 385 for surface mounting is available with 18 or 24 W LED with Japanese Nichia diodes, which are the best available. After much searching, we have found this LED module with so many diodes that the screen is fully illuminated without shadows. Moreover we have an excellent colour rendering of min. 90 Ra, and we shall offer the colour temperatures 2700, 3000, and 4000 K as standard.

 

We keep the same prices as for the equivalent fixture for recession, and the Pelée for surface mounting will be highly competitive.

With the new LED board with Nichia diodes we obtain an even illumination without shadows and spots. The larger module contains as many as 260 diodes, and they are so close to each other that the entire screen is evenly illuminated.

From now on, the Pelée and the H+M luminaires are available with LED only. We regard the new LED modules the best solution for combining a high output ratio with excellent finish. We obtain output ratios up to 82% in the H+M and up to 76% in the Pelée luminaires.

 

The new LED's offer colour rendering indeces of min. 90 Ra and are suitable for a wide range of applications.

All product variants are updated at www.focus-lighting.dk. We have measured the versions with 3000 K and will supplement with colour 2700 and 4000 K very soon.

Due to the new LED modules in Pelée and H+M, we have increased prices for these variants. All other prices remain the same.

Furthermore we have added a new standard colour, Corten (Mars SX3050F by Akzo Nobel), to Sky, Sticks, Square, Nyx Bollard, and Nyx 330. Colour samples will be available soon. You'll also find the Sky Wall in the updated price list.
